37th SIGEVA/IPSJ and Dr João Pedro Pedroso

On March 30, we will host the 37th meeting of SIGEVA/IPSJ.

Venue: Research Quadangle 361 (M11) at University of Aizu
Date: March 30 (Fri) from 1300

As an ivited speaker for the meeting, we will welcome Dr João Pedro Pedroso from University of Porto, Portugal. Aizu and Porto have agreement on the exchange programe development, and he hosted an exchange student from Aizu, and also visited us in December 2010 and gave us a special lecture.

We attended the 36th workshop of IPSJ SIGEVA, held at IIM in Tokyo. Sho Niboshi presented the results of SPECjEnterprise2010 measurement and performance analysis.

IPSJ SIGEVA Workshop

Hitoshi Oi and Kazuaki Takahashi are going to attend the IPSJ SIGEVA workshop, which will be held at the Hachioji Campus of the Tokyo University of Technology on November 29. Thet are going to present work-in-progress report, titled, "Workload Analysis of a Consolidated Java Application Server."

SIGEVA

Hitoshi Oi is serving as an officer of the IPSJ Special Interest Group on System Evaluation (SIGEVA) this academic year. The next SIGEVA workshop will take place as a session of Summer United Workshops on Parallel, Distributed and Cooperative Processing (SWoPP Kanazawa 2010)*, which will be held from August 3 to 5 in Kanazawa.
