Personally, this news has more impact than Apple's. I enjoyed programming in Lisp while I was in Master's program.

ISPA 2012
Hitoshi Oi is going to serve as a program committee member for
the 10th IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications (ISPA-12)
which will be held in Madrid, Spain in July 2012.
