On December 5, Joana Corte-Real from University of Porto visited Aizu and gave us a talk titled "Introduction to Inductive Logic Programming." The talk began with a brief introduction to the logic programming, or Prolog, as not many people are very familiar to this language (unlike 80's). Visit to CINVESTAV

Hitoshi Oi visited the Computer Science Department of CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIÓN Y DE ESTUDIOS AVANZADOS DEL IPN (CINVESTAV) in Mexico City, Mexico.

He introduced Aizu to the faculty members and gave a lecture to both faculty and graduate students*.

* CINVESTAV has only graduate programs.
